The latest from the President of Inas
2010 has been an important year for Inas. It is a little over 1 year ago that the IPC General Assembly voted in favour of the re-inclusion of athletes with an intellectual disability in the Paralympic Games, and much of the past 12 months has been concerned with ensuring that this is made possible.
Preliminary information and an expression of interest form is now available for the 2011 Inas Conference and General Assembly, which takes place in Canberra, Australia in April.
The deadline to register your attendance at the event is 16th January 2011.
All nations are reminded that today (15th December) is the deadline to submit the first entry form for the 5th Open European Indoor Athletics Championships in Finland.
New dates have been confirmed for the 5th Open European Cross Country Championships. Entry forms and details of the event can be found on the ‘whats on’ pages.
The programme for the 2011 IPC Swimming European Championships (including S14 entry criteria) are now available on the IPC Swimming website.
The entry criteria, MQS and programme for the 2011 Parapan American Games is now available on the IPC Swimming website.
I am delighted to use my first blog to launch the new Inas brand.
Our new identity is an indication our ambitions over the coming months as we grow and develop the organisation. We want Inas to be recognised and respected as the leading organisation supporting para-athletes with an intellectual disability.
