The Governing Board are elected by the General Assembly and are responsible for the management of the organisation on behalf of the membership. Officers are elected for a 4 year period.

Prof. Jan Burns – Head of Eligibility
Jan Burns is a Clinical Psychologist and currently a Professor at Canterbury Christ Church University where she is involved in training clinical psychologists and research. She has been involved with the research group looking at sports classification for people with intellectual disabilities and became Head of Eligibility for Inas in 2009.

Lizzie Vogel – Inas Africa
Lizzie has been a teacher in special school since in 1992, Chairperson of the Province (Polokwane) since 1996, and President of SASA-II since 2007.
Laura Ling – Inas Asia
Laura is a retired principal of a special school in Hong Kong with over 30 years of experience working with students and athletes with intellectual disability. Currently she is involved in developing sports with intellectual disability as well as in the coaching and pedagogical education of coaches and teachers.
