
Saksia Valentin (16) is an up and coming swimmer in Germany. She started swimming in 2005 at the age of 11. She joined a local swimming association and was part of the Special Olympics squad competing in Berlin in 2008.

Saskia has been a member of the German National Sport Association for Disabled Persons (DBS) since 2010 and has quickly taken a string of results and medals including 400m & 200m freestyle, 100m breaststroke, 100m backstroke champion at the recent Southern Germany and Youth Championships in January 2011.
Away from swimming, Saskia enjoys playing the piano shopping and watching movies.
